Match the Material to the Substrate
Construction applications expose tapes and films to dust, moisture, temperature swings, textured surfaces and changing installation conditions. Selection should begin with the actual substrate and the required service life.

- Aluminum foil tape for insulation-facing and sealing applications
- Reinforced foil constructions where added dimensional strength is needed
- Butyl sealing tape for flexible moisture-barrier details
- Masking tape and masking film for painting and finishing
- Surface-protection film and fleece for floors, panels, glass and profiles
Questions to Resolve
Identify indoor or outdoor use, exposure duration, application temperature, surface energy, texture, UV exposure, removal requirement and acceptable residue level. Building-code or fire-performance requirements must be stated explicitly and supported by product-specific evidence.
Jobsite Trial
Use a representative surface, preparation method and environmental condition. Check initial wet-out, edge lifting, movement, aging and clean removal at the end of the intended period.
Quotation Checklist
Send surface photos, dimensions, climate, use duration, performance target, required reports, packing and destination.
